Community Led Housing Needs Survey – Tickton & Routh Parish

Is your house right for you and your family? Struggling to buy your own place? Are you looking to downsize to more manageable accommodation? Do you have a local connection to Tickton & Routh Parish but are struggling to find somewhere suitable?

Tickton & Routh Parish Council is working in partnership with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to conduct a survey to establish local affordable housing needs for the community and if the answer is Yes, to look at the possibility of developing a small scheme of Community Led Housing, which puts local residents at the heart of providing homes for local residents.

The survey is for local people who currently live in the parish, or who can show that they have a strong connection to the community.  All parish households will receive this questionnaire.

The surveys will help to ascertain what kind of affordable housing local people need. People who also work locally can qualify for affordable housing. This needs to be permanent rather than seasonal work and for more than 16 hours a week.

This is your opportunity to have your say on affordable housing needs and we need to collect the relevant facts, so we’ve tried to keep the questionnaire as short as possible.
