Public Safety Notice: Fireworks

UNAUTHORISED USE OF FIREWORKS ON PUBLIC LAND:  RECREATION GROUND AND G.L. CULLINGTON FIELD

The Parish Council would like to inform all members of the public that the use of fireworks, bonfires and activities that may cause harm to themselves or other members of the public and property is not permitted and should not be undertaken on public grounds. 

Tickton & Routh Parish Council is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any incidents or accidents resulting from unauthorised use.

                                                  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is against the law to set off fireworks in the street or other public place.  If found guilty by the courts, you could be fined up to £5,000 and can be imprisoned for up to three-months.  You may also be liable for an on-the-spot fine of £80.
